Ealing Youth Big Band (EYBB) will meet for their first rehearsal on Saturday 13th May at Ealing Music Service’s Saturday Music Centre Cadenza. The ensemble will be lead by Ealing Youth Jazz Orchestra’s director Sam Eastmond and is aimed at aspiring jazz players from a Grade 1 – Grade 5+ standard (players do not need to have passed any exams).
Cadenza is already a well-established music centre in the heart of Ealing. We now cater to over 200 young musicians, with 16 ensembles and classes ranging from beginner level up to Grade 6+.
Our ensembles are lead by expert teachers and conductors who focus on high quality music making whilst having fun and learning together. Playing in an ensemble is a vital part of learning to play a musical instrument; ensemble playing helps with aural and sight reading skills, improves confidence and allows pupils to meet like-minded musicians. Above all, it’s great fun!
