CHARANGA
One of the many benefits of being part of Ealing Music Service is our fantastic partnership with Charanga.
Each year Ealing Music Service pay for multiple charanga licences to give as many pupils in Ealing access to a whole musical world of online resources.
There are 2 types of licences that children can have at home.
YUMU
Yumu is Charanga’s brand new online learning space dedicated to supporting primary age students’ music-making between lessons with assignments and student-friendly independent learning packages.
You can access charanga with your login details at www.ealingmusicserviceonline.co.uk/site/log-in/

VIP STUDIO SESSIONS
The online recording studio for secondary age pupils that turns an ordinary PC/Mac into a music computer and young people can use it 24/7 anywhere they can get online.
HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO CHARANGA OR VIP STUDIO
There are 3 ways in which you can access these two platforms:
- If you have instrumental lessons with an EMS teacher – they will set up all primary age children with a YUMU account specifically for their instrumental lessons. If you don’t have your login details please ask your EMS teacher to provide you with your welcome letter and login details.
- If you take part in our Spark! programme(whole-class ensemble tuition) at your primary school then your school or EMS teacher will make sure you have access to YUMU.
- If your school is an EMS Member school then every pupil in your school can have access to YUMU (primary) or VIP studio (secondary) – ask your school for details.
