The EMS office opens on Wednesdays, 09:30 am – 4:00 pm during term time, for Instrument Hires and Returns.

ATTENDANCE IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Please CLICK HERE to make an appointment.

The EMS team are available online Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm during term time.

Students living and/or attending school in the Ealing borough are able to hire from us.

We offer a wide selection of instruments for hire including the following;
Bassoon, Cello, Clarinet, Cornet, Djembe, Double Bass, Flute, French Horn, Oboe, Santoor, Saxophone (Alto), Sitar, Tabla, Trombone, Trumpet, Viola, Violin.

We DO NOT hire Guitars, Recorders, Ukuleles or Keyboards.

Please note that it is not cost-effective to hire Guitars, Recorders, or Ukuleles as it is cheaper to buy these outright.

Instrument hire is charged on a termly, rolling basis until the instrument is returned. Payment is by Direct Debit, managed by Ealing Council’s Corporate Collections.

Hires are charged per academic term as follows:

Simply Book an Appointment to return your instrument. Once the instrument has been returned, we will instruct Corporate Collections to close your hire account and cancel your direct debit.

We are based in the Dominion Centre & Library, 112 The Green, Southall, UB2 4BQ.
