We are delighted to announce that Lottie Lindstrom of Ealing Fields High School is this year’s winner of the Alice Gross Memorial Songwriting Award 2024–25!
Lottie impressed our judges with her original song ‘I’m Yours’ Here’s what they had to say: “Very strong, melodic vocal line, which carries the song nicely.” / “A well-crafted piece from top to bottom: great lyrics, strong melody, and an excellent vocal performance. Outstanding work!” / “Really clear lyrics and a good texture.”
This is Lottie’s second year entering the competition—a true testament to how perseverance and dedication pay off.
Competition Highlights: We received six entries this year from Villiers High School, William Perkin High School, Drayton Manor High School, and Ellen Wilkinson High School. All submissions were of an exceptionally high standard, and every participant received personalized feedback from our industry judges: Cliff Bradley, Rebecca Richardson, and Richard Harris.
