Ealing Music Service’s Singing Strategy has delivered the first Gold Singing School Cluster led by Mount Carmel Primary School. The cluster of 9 schools receive £3000 over 2 years to support the development of singing activities, including training, workshops and other opportunities for pupils and staff.
As part of this programme, each school recently received a whole-school assembly and choir workshop from We Sing U Sing This team of professional artists led by John Fisher presented an innovative Gospel programme designed to help pupils to get in touch with their own musical instrument and voice. The teachers and pupils at one school spoke for all, “We absolutely loved it! The songs are great, modern and with an uplifting, positive message!”.
