INSTRUMENTAL TEACHER FOR PIANO
Piano teacher for individual and small group tuition.
Salary range: £28.20 – £33.41 per hour
Location: Various schools within the London Borough of Ealing
Peripatetic role, depending on Service Level Agreement with Schools
Required from: Spring 2022
Ealing Music Partnership wishes to add to our team of enthusiastic, engaging and committed instrumental teachers to support growing work opportunities within the diverse range of schools in Ealing.
We are initially looking for 2.5 days a week in one of the boroughs leading primary schools, with the possibility of increasing tuition in other schools for the right candidate. The candidate will need to initially need to be available to teach 08:30 – 15:20 Mondays and Tuesdays, and 13:20 – 15:20 Fridays.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates from diverse racial backgrounds, those with a disability or specialists in diverse musical genres. This is an especially interesting time to join Ealing Music Service as we embark on a 5-year Music Inclusion Strategy. Applicants must be able to travel to and from schools, plan, prepare and deliver exciting innovative lessons which inspire and motivate children to progress musically.
The position may also involve assisting with performances and borough-wide concerts from time to time. In-service training and support will be provided by the EMS Leadership Team.
