The notes below describe how instrument teachers can submit an application at other times.
SESSIONAL INSTRUMENT and VOICE TEACHERS
Salary range: £28.20 – £33.41 per hour
Location: Various schools within the London Borough of Ealing
Peripatetic role, depending on Service Level Agreement with Schools
EMS provides high-quality music learning for all children and young people through a variety of programmes and instruments including; Whole Class Ensemble Tuition, Individual and Small Group Instrumental Tuition, Ensembles and Choirs.
Applicants interested in teaching with EMS must be able to travel to and from schools, plan, prepare and deliver exciting innovative lessons which inspire and motivate children to progress musically.
Teaching positions may also involve assisting with performances and borough-wide concerts from time to time. In-service training and support will be provided by the EMS Leadership Team.
Typically teachers joining EMS will provide from ½ -2 tuition days a week with a view to taking on additional work in future.
