Since launching their Singing Schools programme in September 2022, Tenebrae are delighted with the progress of pupils at Clifton and Tudor Primaries. Around 400 children have benefited from Tenebrae performances in schools and trips to see the choir in London, and almost 200 KS2 children in our target year groups have thrived in a series of dedicated workshops, ultimately enabling them to perform together with the Tenebrae Choir.

“We love having the Tenebrae singers in school. We feel confident about singing together now and they make it so fun and challenging.” – Year 5 pupils at Clifton Primary.

“This has opened an amazing door for our children. It’s had a positive impact on the way they express themselves. Pupils have asked us ‘Can we sing in a concert like Hannah does?” – Year 4 teachers at Tudor Primary.
