TUTTI  A Schools Orchestra Extravaganza

On Wednesday 3rd of July 2024 at the ECC Theatre (Northfields, Ealing), EMS are hosting “TUTTI” A SCHOOLS ORCHESTRA EXTRAVAGANZA, and we would love your school to be part of it for FREE!

Tutti will showcase the talented young musicians of Ealing giving a performance opportunity to perform in front of 600 people at the ECC Theatre in Northfields, with a massed orchestra being made up of 300 students from Ealing Schools.”  – Lee Marchant, Deputy Head of Service.

The project will bring together students from Primary and Secondary schools to play with others in a massed orchestra, and for them to have the experience of being led by a professional conductor; Lee Marchant and playing alongside professional musicians, who will play alongside the students. The programme of music has been selected from the resources made accessible by the ‘BBC Ten Pieces’ initiative.  School Ensembles can also opt to perform on their own at the performance, but there will be limited space for school performances, so an audition process may be needed to select ensembles.

Schools will be sent links to the repertoire once they have signed up. All pieces are scored for standard orchestral instruments but also includes Tenor Horn, Alto Sax and Piano.
