MUSICAL HORIZONS

Ealing Music Service is delighted to introduce Musical Horizons, a brand new online early years music programme for families living in the Borough of Ealing, devised and led by professional flautist and Early Years Music practitioner, Nicola Tagoe. Designed for pre-school children between the ages of 3 to 4 years and their parents/carers, Musical Horizons is geared to expand your child’s awareness of the sounds of many different instruments, encouraging them to explore music-making through singing, movement, listening, responding, and playing ‘instruments’ found in your homes (whatever these may be!).

Join us for our series of FREE introductory sessions taking place on Thursdays and Sundays during the Summer term, and experience Musical Horizons for yourself!

“Welcome to Musical Horizons! I am a flautist and music educator with over ten years’ experience working with families, children and young peopleacross London. During this time, I have thoroughly enjoyed leading Early Years and Musicianship sessions with many different organisations, and playing in a flute, harp and cello trio as part of Wigmore Hall’s 2019/20 ‘Chamber Tots’ programme. During Musical Horizons sessions, you will hear the sounds of different instruments including flutes, ukulele, hand percussion and singing. I encourage you and your little ones to make these sessions your own however, sharing and exploring sounds, songs and stories from your day-to-day lives and cultures, and creating new ones. Journey with me and let’s broaden our Musical Horizons together!”
