National Children’s Orchestra is Great Britain’s premier symphony orchestra for children. NCO was established in 1978 by Vivienne Price. There are 6 age-banded orchestras and 6 regional orchestras. NCO brings together hundreds of 7-14 year olds from across the country and offers them a life-changing experience. NCO provides expert mentoring, unrivalled performance opportunities and lots of fun!

NCO holds auditions all around the country every year to populate their six age-banded orchestras with the very best musical talent the UK has to offer. Auditions will take place next October for our 2017 orchestras. To apply for an audition, you have to be aged 13 or under on 31 December 2016.
