Introduction to Opera

Classical Opera / The Mozartists are offering three 90-minute workshops introducing and exploring opera, engaging participants through stimulating singing and stage-craft activities delivered in a fun and accessible way. The workshop is run by one of our experienced animateurs, joined by a pianist and two young professional opera singers.

Sessions are 90 minutes.

Workshops can be run for groups of up to 60 children at a time. The space required depends on the number of participants, but we will need room to move around and, if you don’t have a tuned piano available, a plug socket for our electric keyboard. Class teachers are expected to join in with the sessions. Please inform us in advance of any special educational needs so we can ensure that our workshop caters for all participants, and any necessary support can be arranged in advance. KS2
