BBC Ten Pieces II is the second year of the exciting initiative for schools which aims to inspire young people to get creative with classical music by using a selection of ten pieces of music as a spring-board for creativity. This year the initiative builds on the success of BBC Ten Pieces Primary – which has already engaged more than half of UK Primary Schools (over 11,000 primary schools) and is now aimed at young people in Key Stage 3. Ten Pieces is commissioned and produced by BBC Learning and delivered in conjunction with the BBC Performing Groups.
BBC Symphony Orchestra Schools Concerts

These school-friendly concerts will feature the BBC Symphony Orchestra, world class soloists and exciting presenters opening up the world of classical music to young people.
