And the winner is…

The winner of the Alice Gross Memorial Song Writing Award 2017 is…. RAQUEL JOSEPH with her Song entitled ‘Crestfallen’. CONGRATULATIONS!

Raquel wins the opportunity to record her song in a professional recording studio and have a mastered copy of her song produced.

The judges were very impressed with Raquel’s piece ‘Crestfallen’

“Beautiful instrumentation from the start, the song begins beautifully, the performance is heartfelt and draws you in. The vocal and instrumental arrangement is really well thought out and well executed. Love the pre chorus!”

“A very strong song. It deals with weighty subject matter with sensitivity and positivity with a ‘lift’ in the chorus to reflect the sense of resolve in the protagonist”
